MANDATORY TOOL FOR AUDI ALUMINUM REPAIR CENTERS ONLY!

The rechargeable power riveter VAS 5279B is required for body repairs on the Audi A2/Audi A8/Audi TT/Audi R8 (all aluminium bodies).
The tool was developed to meet Audi specifications for the following service and repair procedures:
Removing punch rivets
Aligning body flanges
Preparing holes for solid rivets
Embossing for solid rivets
Drawing in solid rivets
Aluminium solid rivets should be used for repair work. These can be ordered from the Parts Division in Kassel (VWGoA Parts System) as standard parts.
Aluminium solid rivets: Diameter 4 mm, length 8 mm, part no. N 103 239 01
Solid rivets made from aluminium: Diameter 4 mm, length 12 mm, part no. N 103 240 01
Solid rivets made from aluminium: Diameter 5.3 mm, length 6 mm, part no. N 909 261 02
Solid rivets made from aluminium: Diameter 5.3 mm, length 7.5 mm, part no. N 911 365 01
The screw clips included in the items supplied are used to fix the new body parts in place.
