The new crimping pliers serve as a means of joining Junior Power Timer (JPT) contacts in Group vehicles. The contacts are of the so-called "0 voltage" type and can be found on the lambda probe or air mass meter. Since it is difficult to work with several crimp connectors in areas such as these, the pliers were approved through the Volkswagen warranty for joining the contacts in question.
