In order to prevent unintentional ignition of the side-airbag during assembly and removal work of the driver and front passenger seats, an ignition lead must be connected for reasons of safety between the respective side-airbag module and the housing.
Initial application:Audi A8 MY 2004> Driver and front passenger airbag.
For all other side-airbag systems, use airbag adapters VAS 5232, VAS 5232/1, VAS 5232/2, VAS 5094, VAS 5068 and VAS 6036.
Warning:
One adapter is required for each side-airbag (2).
