The test adapters are required for measurements on high voltage systems, such as the Jetta Hybrid*.
Without the test adapters it is not possible for vehicles to be diagnosed in workshops
because they are needed to perform absolutely essential safety-relevant tests on the high voltage system.
A precise description of the application is provided in "Guided fault finding".
*Important note:
For the Jetta Hybrid, two High-voltage test adapters ( VAS 6558/9 + VAS 6558/15) can be used.
Determining which High-voltage test adapter is correct is by means of the vehicle identification number within "Guided fault finding".
