Portal gauges are needed to inspect and repair structural damage to vehicles.
Portal gauge VAS 5007/72 is a supplement for basic portal gauge system VAS 802 001 or
basic portal gauge system VAS 5007 plus VAS 802 001/1 plus VAS 802 001/2.
The application is described in the relevant workshop manual.
A-pillar: Threaded connection points of door hinges
B-pillar: Threaded connection points of door hinges
C-pillar: Threaded connection points of striker pin
Portal gauges are used in conjunction with the alignment bracket system MZ Plus VAS 6630.
The straightening bracket set Audi A1 VAS 6666, straightening bracket set Polo G VAS 5224/9 and straightening bracket set Toledo/Rapid VAS 6666/1 are required for use.
