The coolant collecting system VAS 5014 consists of a storage tank with 220 liter capacity and a collector tank with 24 liter capacity.
The collector tank is placed under the vehicle and the coolant is drained. The large surface volume (800x600 mm) ensures that all of the fluid is collected and fed into the inner chamber. For transportation of the collector tank to the storage tank, the inner chamber is sealed with a plug. After locating the collector tank on the storage tank, the plug is released and the contents are emptied into the storage tank. Once empty, the collector tank is ready again for immediate use.
