Professional Diagnosis System VAS 6150E with VAS6154 VCI

The “Professional” diagnosis unit VAS 6150E represents the latest generation of diagnosis units currently available. It is supplied with an installed operating system: Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise 2016 LTSB.
With the “Offboard Diagnostic Information System Service” and diagnosis interface VAS 6154, the diagnosis unit forms a system of diagnosis features adapted to each other for diagnosis on Group vehicles.
VAS 6150E can be used independently or in connection with equipment trolley VAS 6556A, test instrument box VAS 6356 or high-voltage modules VAS 6558/6558A.
Thanks to its sturdy construction, it is well adapted to the rigours of workshop use.

2) VAS6154

Vehicle Communication Interface (VCI) (included with VAS6150D)

Facilitates data transfer from the interface in the vehicle to the diagnosis equipment.
If a wireless connection is not possible/permissible, the USB module is used, which guarantees a reliable wired data transmission to the diagnosis unit.

Infrastructure mode: (Launch TBD)
In infrastructure mode, several network-capable devices can be connected together (network subscribers).

Point-to-point connection:
With point-to-point connection via a wireless network, VAS 6154 creates a radio network. VAS 6154 thereby adopts the role of a radio access point (Access Point). A direct connection is made between the diagnosis unit and the diagnosis interface VAS 6154.
VAS 6154 is configured using the web-based user interface.

Test Instrument Set
Description:
Test Instrument Box VAS 6356 is used in conjunction with diagnosis systems VAS6150C, VAS6150B, VAS6150A, VAS6160 or VAS6160A to perform all current test instrument tasks in the course of guided fault finding.
Test instrument box VAS 6356 is comparable with the test instrument technology from diagnosis tester VAS 5051B and also the test instrumentation included with it.

Design and Features:

• Future-proof test instrument technology for measuring quick signal patterns (e.g. CAN bus).
• Simultaneous use of 2 rapid DSO channels and a highly accurate, high resolution multimeter (current, voltage, resistance, continuity and diodes).
