In conjunction with the E-positioner tester VAS 6395, the supplementary set VAS 6395/4 serves as a means of replacing the E-positioner on the turbocharger on 3.0 L TDI in the Audi A4 2001>; Cabriolet 2003>; Audi A6 2005>; Audi Q7 2007> and Audi A8 2003> and also on the same models with 2.7 L and 3.0 L with intake manifold. The application is described in the relevant workshop manual. With the update cable VAS 6395/4-1 the new software can be uploaded from the PC (Audi ServiceNet) to the E-positioner tester VAS 6395/1. The procedure is described on the Audi ServiceNet under "Workshop Equipment =>Software for VAS 6395". The open end spanner VAS 6395/4-3 is required to tighten the bolts when replacing the E-positioner on the turbocharger.
