On engines with turbochargers and for adjustment of the bypass opening by means of the pressure unit, only this VAS 6341 can be used to exchange the vacuum unit separately. Until now, the complete turbocharger including pressure unit had to be exchanged. The pressure unit must be adjusted across a certain pressure range very accurately. To do this, a dial gauge (VAS 6341/1) with a measuring range of 30mm is required. Since the dial gauge has to be attached at different points on turbochargers, the extensions (VAS 6341/2 and VAS 6341/3) including flat pickup (VAS 6341/4) are required.
