The hybrid test adapter serves as a means of checking whether the vehicle system is de-energized.
Using the adapter, de-energized state can be tested at the high voltage battery via the high voltage cables without the need to lay aside additional high voltage components. In this way, de-energizing the vehicle system is made considerably easier.
For work measures directly in the vicinity of power electronics, the hybrid test adapter VAS 6558/1-1 already in service must be used.
The hybrid test adapter VAS 6558/8 can also be used on the Cayenne hybrid (92A).

It is essential that the safety regulations are observed when doing this. Only properly trained personnel are permitted to work on hybrid systems.
