The pneumatic ratchet V.A.G 1684 is used mainly for body repairs. It is a valuable tool right from constructing the straightening bracket sets, which have approx. 80 screws/bolts. Work is much quicker and the prescribed torque settings of 60 Nm are adhered to exactly. This way, a secure fit of the bolted modular traverses and straightening brackets is assured without material fatigue (over-stretching).
Furthermore, the ratchet is suitable for tightening and removing all screws/bolts up to M 10. The ergonomically designed hand grip and the small sized head ease use of the ratchet also in places with poor accessibility.
