The ultrasound tester is used for the diagnosis or damage diagnosis of CFRP components.
If there is damage or the suspicion of damage to CFRP components in vehicles, an ultrasound tester is required.
The tester is used to test the structure of the CFRP material by means of ultrasound.
If there is damage to the CFRP, the damage areas are shown in the display on the PC or laptop.
For testing larger areas (e.g. if there are cracks), the template for ultrasound tester VAS 852 003/1 can be used.
The template contains grids for up to 18 individual recordings.
A PC or laptop is not included in delivery.
