Application:

The sealing cap VAS 691 005/8 serves as a means of sealing the high-voltage battery cooling system.  The adapter is required e.g. for testing the cooling system for leaks or removing the high-voltage battery of the Audi A6L e-tron China (PHEV) 2016>.  The application is described in the relevant workshop manual.
