Tire changer VAS 6824 was developed for fitting and removing tires from passenger vehicles and light commercial vehicles, including low profile, UHP and run-flat tires. The machine is particularly suitable for workshops with a high turnover of tires. The integrated removal finger replaces the conventional tire lever. It pulls the bead over the rim flange with as little damage to the tire as possible and saves the operator's energy. In this way, productivity is increased thanks to quick processing of standard tires and tires with hard sidewalls.
The electronically synchronized, servo-driven removal plates on both sides enable bead breaking when stationary: faster, easier, ergonomic and trouble-free.
The bead roller is attached to break soft and hard beads in the same way. A mirror makes it easy to remove the lower bead and to apply assembly paste.
The central clamping flange with quick clamping feature ensures fast, precise and secure clamping of the wheel. The pneumatic bead depressor protects the rims. The sidewall depressor enables removal of tires with hard sidewalls.
The ergonomic wheel lift reduces the amount of effort required by the user to lift large and heavy wheels. The inverter-controlled motor enables 2 rotating speeds as well as a high torque with low speed for best fitting and removing results. The tires are filled with air via a pedal-controlled inflation device. An additional inflation feature makes it easy to pop the bead on tubeless tires and also to inflate them.
