Application:
VAS 611 007 is used in conjunction with the diagnostic testers for checking and adjusting the valve timing. Thanks to the high measuring accuracy and permanent measurement, dynamic influences on the valves and toothed belts can be taken account of. The supplied software makes it possible to read-off the setting values directly on the tester and document the results.
The electronic measuring system is structured modularly. In this way, the angle sensors and sensor interface can be used for all engines. How the individual adapters are used can be gleaned from the workshop manual.
